David Saul Klafter (1886 - 1965) war ein jüdischer Architekt aus Chicago, Illinois. Er war über ein halbes Jahrhundert aktiv und designte in seiner Vielseitigkeit nicht nur die ersten Filmtheater der Stadt, sondern auch eine Vielzahl an Synagogen (wie Humboldt Boulevard Temple und B'nai Bezalel) oder Bürogebäude (wie das Insurance Centre in der South Wells Street).
David Saul Klafter (1886 - 1965) was a versatile Jewish architect from Chicago, Illinois. He practiced for over a half century and designed not only the first moving-picture theatres in the city, but also a number of synagogues (like Humboldt Boulevard Temple and B'nai Bezalel) or office buildings (like the Insurance Centre building on South Wells Street).
