Berlin, 30.04.1872, Aktie über 200 Thaler, #17938, 29,2 x 36,6 cm, grün, schwarz, Knickfalten mit Einrissen an den Enden, Abheftlochung unten (ein Loch eingerissen), links kleine Klammerlöcher, Erhaltung VF, grandiose Gestaltung mit Ansicht eines Straßenzuges, wie er von der Gesellschaft aus dem Boden gestampft wurde, exakt dieses Stück war das Cover-Stück der ersten Auktion der Disconto-Gesellschaft, die 1977 in Berlin stattfand. Neben diesem Stück ist nur noch das Stück mit der Nummer 11485 bekannt (versteigert 2014), R11. | |||

Berlin, 30 April 1872, Share of 200 Thaler, #17398, 29.2 x 36.6 cm, green, black, folds with tears, filing holes at bottom (one hole with tear), left edge with small pin holes, condition VF, superb design with view of a street, in that way the company realised their projects, exactly the offered item was the Cover item of the first Scripophily auction by the Disconto-Gesellschaft, which took place in Berlin in 1977. We only know one more certificate (#11485, auctioned 2014), R11. | |||

Die Terraingesellschaft wurde 1870 mit dem Zweck „eine Straße von der Commandanten- zur Leipziger Straße (Spittelmarkt) durchzubrechen und den Grund und Boden (…) durch Vermietung (…) nutzbar zu machen“. Entlang dieser Straße, der Beuthstraße, entstanden 18 Wohnhäuser, von denen aber die meisten entweder den Krieg oder den Mauerbau nicht überlebten. Später befand sich an der Stelle ein komplett leeres Areal, da an dieser Stelle der Todesstreifen verlief. Heute befinden sich an dieser Stelle Hochhäuser. | |||

The real estate company was founded in 1870 with the purpose of building “a street from the Commandanten-Straße to the Leipziger Straße (Spittelmarkt) and to exploit the land by leasing”. Along this street, called Beuthstraße, 18 new residential houses were built. Most of them did not survive the two World Wars and the Building of the Berlin Wall. The complete area was empty later because it was straight in the death strip. New residential houses were built after the fall of the Berlin Wall. | |||
