Die Gesellschaft wurde am 24.03.1870 unter Übernahme der bereits seit 1837 bestehenden Richard Hartmann Maschinenfabrik (Chemnitz) gegründet. Geschäftszweck war die Herstellung von Maschinen sowie die vollständige Einrichtung für die Streichgarn- und Reißwollspinnerei. 1930 trat die Firma in Abwicklung.
Chemnitz, 06 July 1923, common share certificate à 1,200 marks, later stamped with 100 Reichsmark, #289777-8, 23.1 x 31.8 cm, brown, turquoise, folds, rips of about 2 cm at the border, very decorative design which shows the sight on to the factory, only 1 certificate is in the Reichsbankschatz (historic valuables of the former German National Bank), very rare! The company was founded on 24 March 1870 with the acquisition of the Richard Hartmann Maschinenfabrik (Chemnitz) which had already existed since 1837. The business purpose was the manufacturing of machines and of the complete equipment for the woollen yarn and reprocessed wool spinning company. In 1930 the company started the process of winding-up.
