Stockholm, 14 March 1859, Share certificate à 300 Reichsthaler, #262, 36.2 x 22.3 cm, Condition VF, black, white, double sheet, folds, small rips at the border, original signature of the Swedish King Karl XV. The company was founded at the instigation of the Swedish King in order to support the agriculture. Thus the company possessed for instance an experimental centre for the East cultivation. In 1865 Karl XV (1826-1872) established the prestigious constitution in Sweden, so that the actual governmental power was practiced by two chambers instead of the Reichstags der vier Stände (= assembly, consisting of 4 chambers, each for one status group). In addition under Karl XV the Scandinavism, that is the political movement in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark to support the cooperation between them, reached its apex. According to our information the paper is the only share (in other cases only bonds exists) with an original signature of the King!
