 Die Bahn wurde 1874 gegründet, um eine 16 Meilen lange Strecke in Rusk County zu errichten. Sie führte von Henderson nach Overton und wurde dort an die International and Great Northern angeschlossen. 1877 wurde die Strecke eröffnet. Nur drei Jahre später übernahm die International and Great Northern die Gesellschaft.
Historie (Angličtina)
 The line was founded in 1874 to construct a 16 mile long line in Rusk county. It ran from Henderson to Overton and was attached to the Internatiol and Great Northern there. The line was opened in 1877. Only three years later the International and Great Northern took over the corporation.
