 Habana, 31.10.1876, Titulo de Propiedad de una accion de 500 Pesos, #220, QF, weiß, kleine Vignette: Straßenbahnwaggon der von Pferden gezogen wird, stark verknittert, gebräunt, OU durchgestrichen, bei den Übertragungen teilweise Tintenfraß, Einrisse, lochentwertet, nicht häufig angeboten.

 Die Hauptstadt Cubas als zweite Stadt Südamerikas eine Straßenbahn. Bereits 1857 wurde die Ferro Carrill Urbano de la Habana gegründet und am 20.11.1857 wurde bereits mit dem Bau begonnen. Die Strecke wurde am 03.02.1858 eröffnet. 1963 kam es dann zur Fusion mit einer weiteren Gesellschaft zur obigen Firma.

 The Cuban capital had one of the world's first street railways. The Ferro Carril Urbano de la Habana was chartered on 5 September 1857, began construction on 20 November 1857, and opened a horsecar line from the railroad station to the docks (Muelles) on 3 February 1858. The first cars carried only freight - baggage and produce from nearby farms - but passenger vehicles were added on 20 September 1859. FCU had opened its first passenger line, to Carmelo, on 4 September 1859. Havana was the second city in Latin America to have a streetcar system, preceded only by Mexico City in January 1858. FCUH built passenger lines to Cerro and Jesús del Monte in 1862 and merged with a coach company to form the Empresa del Ferro-Carril Urbano y Omnibus de La Habana in 1863. By 1865 it was operating 32 passenger cars and 16 freight cars on 17 km of track.
