geber für die in Kanada gelegene Stadt Halifax.
The certificate is signed by GeorgeMontagu, 1st Earl of Halifax (1684 - 1739). Montague was member of the Parliament of Northampton
between 1705 and 1715. GeorgeMontague succeeded his uncle Charles Montague as the second baron of Halifax. GeorgeMontagu was
appointed of the Privy Council, the brain trust of the British Crown, a few years later. Montague is also the name giver of the Canadian city
Halifax.
