Jerome Increase Case (1819–1891) gründete 1842 seine Firma J. I. Case Threshing Machine Company in Racine, Wisconsin. Nachdem Case um die Jahrhundertwende mehr Dreschmaschinen als Traktoren verkaufte, wurde er als König der Dreschmaschinen bezeichnet. Nachdem Case 1999 von Fiat übernommen wurde, fusionierte Fiat Cast mit New Holland, die ebenfalls zu Fiat gehört, zu Case New Holland. |
