Jerome Increase Case (1819–1891) gründete 1842 seine Firma J. I. Case Threshing Machine Company in Racine, Wisconsin. Nachdem Case um die Jahrhundertwende mehr Dreschmaschinen als Traktoren verkaufte, wurde er als König der Dreschmaschinen bezeichnet. Nachdem Case 1999 von Fiat übernommen wurde, fusionierte Fiat Cast mit New Holland, die ebenfalls zu Fiat gehört, zu Case New Holland. |

Jerome Increase Case (1819–1891) founded his company J. I. Case Threshing Machine Company in Racine, Wisconsin in 1842. Case was named the "King of Threshing Machines", after he sold more thresing machines than tractors at the turn of the century. Case was take over by Fiat in 1999, and merged with New Holland (also part of Fiat) to Case New Holland. |
