Historie (Německo)
 Andre Georges Lemonnier (1896 - 1963) war ein französischer Admiral, der in beiden Weltkriegen im Einsatz war. Im 2. Weltkrieg war er u. a. für die Verteidigung von Paris verantwortlich. Zudem nahm er an diversen Seeschlachten im Mittelmeer und um die Normandie herum teil, wodurch er letztlich die Alliierten in ihren Bestrebungen unterstützte, nach der deutschen Besetzung wieder Zugriff auf französisches Terrain zu bekommen. Nach dem Krieg wurde Lemonnier zudem Direktor des NATO Defense College.
Historie (Angličtina)
 Andre Georges Lemonnier (1896 - 1963) was a French admiral, who participated in both World Wars. In World War II, he was responsible for the defence in Paris and took part at several naval battles in the Mediterranean Sea and around Normandy, supporting the Allies to regain control in France. After the war, he also became Director of the NATO Defence College.
