Lieutenant Colonel Arthur O'Neill Cubitt Chichester (1889 - 1972) kämpfte zunächst im Ersten Weltkrieg und erlangte für seinen Dienst in der Surrey Yeomanry den Rang eines Captain. 1918 erfolgte zudem seine Auszeichnung mit dem Military Cross. Auch im Zweiten Weltkrieg war Chichester im Einsatz, diesmal bei der Royal Artillery. Durch seine dortigen Verdienste wurde er zum Lieutenant Colonel befördert und erhielt 1941 den Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.). Chichester lebte auf Galgorm Castle in Ballymena, einer Stadt im nordirischen County Antrim. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Lieutenant Colonel Arthur O'Neill Cubitt Chichester (1889 - 1972) fought in the First World War and gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Surrey Yeomanry. In 1918, he was decorated with the award of the Military Cross. He also fought in the Second World War and gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery. In 1941, the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) was awarded to him. Chichester lived at Galgorm Castle, Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
