Wallace. Wallace unterzeichnete am 18.12.1787 für den County of Burlington die Ratifizierungsurkunde des Staates New Jersey, mit der dieser die US-Verfassung anerkannte! Wallace ist in der New St. Mary's Church in Burlington begraben. Eine der wenigen US-Aktien aus dem 18. Jahrhundert! | |||

18 February 1793, 1 Share, #29, 11.2 x 37.9 cm, black, beige, folds, printed on handmade paper with watermark, seal with view of the bridge, only 100 copies issued, original signature of Joshua M. Wallace. Wallace signed on 18 December 1787 for the County of Burlington the New Jersey’s ratification of the US constitution. Wallace is buried in the New St. Mary’s Church in Burlington. One of the few US-Stocks which were issued in the 18th century. | |||

Die frühe Brückengesellschaft in Philadelphia errichtete eine hölzerne, überdachte Brücke über den Roncocas Creek, einen Nebenfluss des Delaware, in der Nähe von Mount Holly im Bundesstaat New Jersey. Insgesamt gab die Gesellschaft 100 Aktien zu je £ 30 aus. Für die Überfahrt kassierte die Gesellschaft von März 1794 bis März 1795 Mauteinnahmen von £ 210 (Kopie des „Abstract of the Accounts“ liegt bei). Im Jahr 1838 wurde die Brücke zerstört und wieder neu aufgebaut und 1927 noch einmal modernisiert. | |||

The early bridge company was founded in Philadelphia. It built and operated a sheltered wood bridge over the Roncocas Creek. The Roncocas Creek was a tributary river of the Delaware, next to Mount Holly in New Jersey. The company issued 100 shares at £ 30 per share. The company had a turnover from toll of £ 210 (copy of the „Abstract of the Accounts“ is attached) between March 1794 and March 1795. The bridge was destroyed and rebuilt in the year 1838. It was modernized again in 1927. | |||
