Rudolph Keppler wurde 1845 im baden-württembergischen Konstanz geboren, lebte aber seit seiner Jugend in den USA. Er war als Börsenhändler tätig und gründete zu diesem Zweck eine eigene Firma, die entsprechend Rudolph Keppler & Company hieß. Darüber hinaus wurde er 1898 zum Präsidenten der New York Stock Exchange ernannt. Er hatte diesen Posten bis 1903 inne - weshalb letztlich auch ihm die Ehre zuteil wurde, im April 1903 ein neues Börsengebäude mit Parkett einzuweihen. Rudolph Keppler was born in Konstanz, Germany, in 1845, but has lived in the United States since his youth. Keppler became a New York Stock Broker with his own company, Rudolph Keppler & Company. More about that he was appointed as President of the New York Stock Exchange from 1898 to 1903. In April 1903, Rudolph Keppler inaugurated a new stock exchange building including a floor, which still remains the NYSE's home today. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
