The company was founded for a period of 15 years by royal char-
ter of the Greek government on 12 and 24 January 1873. The
share capital of the company was 200,000 British Pounds. It was
split into 200 shares. The company produced Greek wines, most-
ly from fresh Corinth grapes. The wine was sold in Greece and
abroad. Furthermore the company was allowed to distill spirit.
The company had its headquarter and a shop in Patras. The pro-
duction plant and the storage were outside of Patras.

Die Gesellschaft wurde durch ein Dekret der königlichen griechi-
schen Regierung vom 12./24. Januar 1873 auf eine Dauer von 15
Jahren gegründet. Das Kapital betrug 200.000 Pfund und war in
200 Aktien eingeteilt. Zweck war die Bereitung griechischer Wei-
ne, vornehmlich aus frischen Corinthentrauben, und deren Ver-
kauf ins In- und Ausland. Zudem war die Destillation von Sprit
nicht ausgeschlossen. In Patras waren der Verwaltungssitz und
das Verkaufslokal angesiedelt. Die Produktionsanlagen und La-
ger befanden sich außerhalb von Patras.
