 Die Gesellschaft erhielt die Konzession zur Gasversorgung der Stadt Beirut 1885. Erst 1908 wurde eine entsprechende Konzession zur Elektrizitätsversorgung erteilt.
History (English)
 In 1885 the company received the license to supply the city of Beirut with gas. Only in 1908 a similar license for the supply of electricity was granted.
