Die American Exchange Bank wurde 1838 gegründet. 1925 übernahm sie die Pacific National Bank in New York und firmierte in American Exchange-Pacific National Bank um. Nach weiteren Zusammenschlüssen und Umfirmierungen entstand aus der Gesellschaft die heutige Bank of New York. | |||
History (English) |
The American Exchange Bank was founded in 1838. In 1925 it assumed the Pacific National Bank in New York and changed its name into American Exchange-Pacific National Bank. After several further mergers and changes of the corporate name, the bank developed into todays Bank of New York. | |||
