 William L. Elkins war bereits sehr früh in der Ölbranche aktiv und einer der ursprünglichen Partner in der Standard Oil. Zudem prägte Elkins den Straßenbahnbau in Philadelphia sehr stark.
History (English)
 The stock certificate bears the original signature of William L. Elkins as president. William L. Elkins early on was active in the oil industry and was one of the original partners in Standard Oil. In addition, Elkins significantly shaped the construction of streetcar lines in Philadelphia.
