Belgien ist dasjenige Land Kontinentaleuropas, das nach England industrialisiert wurde. Die Kohlevorkommen in der Wallonie wurden früh erschlossen und bildeten die Grundlage für eine bedeutende Eisen- und Stahlindustrie. Der Hochofenbetrieb und die Drahtzieherei dieser Gesellschaft lagen in einem südöstlichen Stadteil von Charleroi inmitten des Kohlegebiets an der Sambre. Die Aktie ist das erste belgische Wertpapier, das als farbige Lithographie gedruckt wurde. | |||
History (English) |
Belgium is the country on the Continent that was industrialized after England. The coal deposits in Walloony were developed and served as the foundation for an important iron and steel industry. The high furnaces and the companys wire-drawing were in a town district situated in the Southeast of Charleroi in the middle of the coaling area on the Sambre. The share is the first Belgian security paper printed as a coloured lithograph. | |||
