Nachdem das erfolgreichste Automobil der Geschichte, der Ford T, nach 18 Jahren Produktion im Jahr 1927 durch das neue Modell A abgelöst wurde, begann man bei Ford den Auslandsverkauf durch die Gründung neuer Tochtergesellschaften zu forcieren. So wurde 1929 in Stockholm die Ford Motor Company AB als Tochter der Ford Motor Co. Ltd., London, ins Leben gerufen. Das Unternehmen fertigte Ford-Autos und vertrieb diese auf dem schwedischen Markt. Zusätzlich war die Firma im Traktoren- und Flugzeugbau tätig. | |||

After the most successful car, the Ford T, was replaced by the new Model A, Ford started to force the foreign sales. This was the reason why Ford founded new subsidiaries. In 1929 the Ford Motor Company AB was founded as a subsidiary of the Ford Motor Co. Ltd., London. The company produced the Ford cars and sold them on the Swedish market. Furthermore the company produced tractors and planes. | |||
