 Hamburg, 11.01.1896, Antheil-Schein über 1,20 Mark, #26104/6741, 12,7 x 21,2 cm, schwarz, beige, zwei Knickfalten längs, 1,5 cm Randeinriss, sonst EF, Original-Signaturen von Vorstand und Kassier, bisher ist uns nur ein anderes Exemplar, ausgegeben am 20.01.1863 über 1 Mark und mit anderem Design bekannt, Einzelstück beim Einlieferer, R12!
Beschreibung (Englisch)
 Hamburg, 11 January 1896, Share of 1.20 Mark, #26104/6741, 12.7 x 21.2 cm, black, beige, two vertical folds, 1.5 cm tear, otherwise EF, signed by the CEO and treasurer, we only know one more share certificate of the company, issued on 20 January 1863, and for 1 Mark, which has other design, seller’s single item, R12!

Geschichte
 Die im Jahr 1856 von Hamburger Kaufleuten errichtete Gesellschaft erwarb Waren des täglichen Bedarfs en gros zwecks Abgabe an ihre Mitglieder. Um die Handels- und Verwaltungskosten zu decken durfte die Gesellschaft einen Aufschlag von maximal 4 Prozent nehmen. Die Anteilscheine waren unkündbar und wurden nicht verzinst. Ihr Nennwert betrug zunächst 1 Mark, später 1,20 Mark. 1913/14 erzielte die Gesellschaft mit mehr als 83 Läden einen Umsatz von 11 Millionen Mark. Später wurde die Gesellschaft in eine GmbH umgewandelt.
Geschichte (Englisch)
 The company was founded by Hamburg merchants in 1856. The purpose of the company was to buy goods of daily needs in large scale, and to sell them to its members. The company was allowed a maximum surcharge of 4 per cent to cover its trading and administrative costs. The shares were irredeemable and paid no interest. The nominal value was 1 Mark in the first years and 1.20 Mark later. The company achived with its 83 stores a turnover of 11 million Marks in 1913/14. The company was changed to a limited company (GmbH) later.
