Historie (Německo)
 Die Wollwarenmanufaktur wurde 1837 von Hermann Levin und August Böhme gegründet. Gegen den Widerstand anderer Göttinger Tuchmacher entwickelte sich die Firma Levin bald zum größten Unternehmen der Stadt. Den wirtschaftlichen Höhepunkt erreichte die Firma 1912. Der Inhaber war 1924 einer der Mitgründer der Confag (Confektion) Aktiengesellschaft, Berlin. 1930 ging die Firma in Liquidation.
