 Die Fluglinie wurde 1946 gegründet. Im Sommer 1992 wurde sie in eine AG umgewandelt, war aber immer noch komplett im Staatsbesitz. Ende 1992 erwarb Alitalia einen Anteil von 30 Prozent und die Investmentfirma Simest einen Anteil von fünf Prozent. Ende der 90er Jahre haben allerdings ungarische Firmen die Anteile von Alitalia wieder zurückerworben. Heute hält eine staatliche Beteiligungsgesellschaft 99,95 Prozent der Anteile, nur 0,05 % liegen bei anderen Aktionären!

 The airline was founded in 1946. In the summer of 1992 it was converted into an AG (shareholders’ corporation), but was still completely owned by the state. Towards the end of 1992 Alitalia purchased a share of 30 per cent and the investment company Simest a share of five per cent. At the end of the 90ies, however, Hungarian companies bought back all the shares from Alitalia. Today a state-run Holding retains 99.95 per cent of the shares, only 0.05 % lie with other shareholders!
