Cornelius Vanderbilt II (1843-1899) war der älteste Sohn von William Henry Vanderbilt und Enkel des legendären Commodore. Cornelius II folgte seinem Vater als Chairman der New York Central und der Michigan Central. Er war von 1886 bis 1899 President der New York & Harlem zudem war er bei vielen anderen Vanderbilt-Linien im Management.
Cornelius Vanderbilt II (1843-1899) was the oldest son of William Henry Vanderbilt and the grandson of the legendary Commodore. Cornelius II succeeded his father as chairman of the New York Central and Michigan Central. From 1886 until 1899 he was the president of the New York & Harlem. He also was an executive manager with many other Vanderbilt lines.
