Histoire (Allemand)
 Edward Henry Harriman (1848-1909) begann seine Karriere als er die Lake Ontario Southern 1881 reorganisierte. Später war er bei der Baltimore & Ohio, Illinois Central, Union Pacific und Central Pacific aktiv. Später verlor er die Schlacht mit James Hill um die Northern Pacific.
Histoire (Anglais)
 The stock is issued by E.H.Harriman and originally signed by him on the backside. The stock is not listed in Cox. Individual unit by the consigner. See also lot #9. Edward Henry Harriman (1848-1909) began his career by reorganizing the Lake Ontario Southern in 1881. Later he was active with the Baltimore & Ohio, Illinois Central, Union Pacific, and Central Pacific. Later still he lost his battle with James Hill for the Northern Pacific.
