 Cornelius Vanderbilt II. (1843-1899) war der älteste Sohn von William Henry Vanderbilt. Er folgte seinem Vater als Chairman der New York Central and Michigan Central. Zudem war er von 1886 bis 1899 President der New York & Harlem.

 The stock certificate bears the original signature of Cornelius Vanderbilt II in his role as treasurer. Cornelius Vanderbilt II (1843-1899) was the eldest son of William Henry Vanderbilt. He succeeded his father as chairman of the New York Central and the Michigan Central. In addition he was president of the New York & Harlem from 1886 to 1899.
