Das Unternehmen fungierte als Holding- und Finanzierungsgesellschaft für südafrikanische und mexikanische Minen- und Industriebeteiligungen. 1980 erfolgte die Fusion mit General Mining zur General Mining Union Corp. | |||

This South African company was founded in 1897 with German participation as A. Goertz & Co. Not until the end of WW I was the company name changed to Union Corp. The company operated as a holding and financing corporation for South African and Mexican mining and industry investments. In 1980, the fusion with General Mining to become General Mining Union Corp. took place. | |||
