Die Gesellschaft wurde 1906 mit einem Kapital von 150.000 Pfund = 3,75 Millionen Francs gegründet. Juristischer Sitz war London. Geschäftszweck war der Verkauf der in Frankreich von Passy-Thellier gebauten Automobile, die nach ersten Versuchen einen Wagen konstruierten, der den Namen Mendelssohn trug. Zu den Direktoren zählte auch E. G. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Mitglied der berühmten Musikerfamilie. Seine Unterschrift ist auf die Aktie aufgestempelt. | |||

The car Passy-Thellier had constructed was named Mendelssohn. One of the directors of the company was E. G. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, member of the well known musician family.
