Factos históricos (Alemão)
 Die Gesellschaft erhielt 1853 eine Konzession zum Bau einer Eisenbahn vom Mississippi nach Westen. Der Namensbestandteil „Air Line“ bedeutet dabei, dass die Bahn geradlinig verlaufen sollte. 1854 brach die Gesellschaft bereits zusammen. Später ging die Konzession und die Landschenkungen auf die Cedar Rapids & Missouri River Rail Road über.
Factos históricos (Inglês)
 The company got a concession to built a railway from the Mississippi in western direction. The name part “Air Line” means that the railway was built straight forward. The company went bankrupt in 1854. Later the concession and the land grants were given to the Cedar Rapids & Missouri River Rail Road.
