 Die Insurance Company of Pennsylvania war die erste durch Ausgabe von Aktien finanzierte Assekuranz der Vereinigten Staaten. Zudem ist die Gesellschaft - lässt man einige gebührenpflichtige Schnellstraßen außen vor - die älteste noch existierende Firma. Sie ist heute ein Teil der American International Group (AIG). Ob neben diesen Transferzertifikaten auch Aktien ausgegeben worden sind, ist uns nicht bekannt.
History (English)
 The insurance company of Pennsylvania was the first insurance company of the United States, which was financed by issuing shares. Furthermore the company is - beside the toll roads - the oldest still existing company in the United States. Today it is a part of the American International Group (AIG). We do not know, if beside this transfer certificates stock certificates do exist as well.
