History (German)
 Der britische Hersteller von Dampfmaschinen und -kesseln wurde 1835 von den Brüdern William and John Galloway als Personengesellschaft gegründet. 1848 patentierte man die "Galloway tube", drei Jahre später den "Galloway boiler". 1933 wurde das Unternehmen von Hick, Hargreaves & Co. übernommen.
History (English)
 Established in 1835 as a partnership of two brothers, William and John Galloway, the company was a British manufacturer of steam engines and boilers. In 1848, Galloways patented the "Galloway tube", followed by the "Galloway boiler" in 1851. The company was taken over by Hick, Hargreaves & Co. in 1933.
