 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1870 gegründet und eröffnete im gleichen Jahr ihre erste Linie. Sie betrieb zwei Linien im Norden und Süden der Stadt. 1896 wurde die Gesellschaft von der North British Railway Company übernommen.
History (English)
 The company was founded in 1870. Also in 1870 the first line was opened. It operated two lines across the north and the south of the city. In 1896 the company was bought by the North British Railway Company.
