 Pullman war ein bekannter amerikanischer Erfinder und Hersteller von Schlafwagen. Seinen ersten Schlafwagen baute er 1859 und damit ein Jahr nach Theodore Woodruff. Allerdings übernahm Pullman später Woodruffs Firma.

 Pullman was a famous American inventor and producer of sleeping coaches. He built his first sleeping coach in 1859, one year after Theodore Woodruff. But Pullman later bought Woodruffs company.
