History (German)
 Die Gesellschaft wurde am 18. April 1906 als Haloid Company von Stephen Kubny-Miller gegründet. Sie stellte Fotopapier her und vertrieb es. Chester Carlson entwickelte 1938 die Xerografie. Nachdem er 1942 das Patent hierfür erhielt, verkaufte er es 1947 an Haloid. 1949 wurde dann der erste Fotokopierer der Welt präsentiert. Ab 18 April 1965 firmierte die Gesellschaft dann als Xerox Corporation.
History (English)
 The company was founded as Haloid Company by Stephan Kubny-Miller on 18 April 1906. It produced and distributed photo paper. Chester Carlson developed the xerography in 1938, and got a patent in 1942. This patent was sold to Haloid in 1947, which presented the first copy machine of the world in 1949. The name of the company was changed to Xerox Corporation on 18. April 1965.
