 Texas Instruments wurde 1951 von Cecil Howard Green, Jon Erik Jonsson, Eugene McDermott und Henry Bates Peacock gegründet. 1958 wurde von der Gesellschaft der erste integrierte Schaltkreis (IC) entwickelt, die Basis von Computerchips. Heute ist das Technologie-Unternehmen noch immer im Halbleitergeschäft aktiv.
History (English)
 Texas Instruments was founded by Cecil Howard Green, Jon Erik Jonsson, Eugene McDermott, and Henry Bates Peacock in 1951. The company developed the first integrated circuits (IC) in 1958. This was the basis of computer chips. The technology company is still active in the semiconductor business.
