 Die Bahn wurde von der Richmond and Danville Railroad übernommen. Nachdem die Gesellschaft 1893 in Schwierigkeiten geriet, reorganisierte sie J. P. Morgan in das Southern Railway System.
History (English)
 The railway was taken over by the Richmond and Danville Railroad. After die company went into trouble in 1893 it was taken over and reorganized by J. P. Morgan. He integrated the railway into the Southern Railway System.
