History (German)
 Hiawatha Gold Mines wurde 1936 gegründet, nachdem einige Proben in der Gemeinde Lizar im kanadischen Algoma District (Provinz Ontario) spektakuläre Ergebnisse brachten und in oberflächennahen Gruben Gold zu vermuten war. 1939 wurden die Aktivitäten aber auf Grund des Ausbruchs des Zweiten Weltkrieges bereits wieder gestoppt.
History (English)
 Hiawatha Gold Mines was incorporated in 1936, which was based on spectacular gold assay returns from surface pits on the Lizar township property in the Algoma District, Canada. The company proceeded to explore and develop the prospect until 1939, when all activity stopped as a result of the outbreak of World War II.
