 Die Bank of British North America wurde 1836 gegründet und war damit die erste Bank in British Columbia. Zwischen 1852 und 1911 gab sie eigene Banknoten aus, ehe sie 1918 mit der Bank of Montreal fusioniert wurde.

 The Bank of British North America was founded in 1836 and was the first bank operating in British Columbia. The bank issued notes from 1852 to 1911 and was merged with the Bank of Montreal in 1918.
