 Die Walfang-Gesellschaft wurde 1928 als Hvalfangstselskapet Kosmos A/S gegründet. 1949 schloss sich die Firma mit der Hvalfangstselskapet Kosmos II A/S zur A/S Kosmos zusammen. 1988 wurde die Gesellschaft übernommen und aufgespaltet.
History (English)
 The whaling company was founded in 1928 as Hvalfangstselskapet Kosmos A/S. It merged with the Hvalfangstselskapet Kosmos II A/S to form the A/S Kosmos in 1949. The company was taken over and split in 1988.
