 Die Firma wurde 1899 als deutsch-chinesische AG mit Sitz in Tsingtau gegründet. Sie baute und betrieb eine 434 Kilometer lange Bahn von Tsingtau bis nach Tsinanfu. 1930 firmierte die Gesellschaft in Schantung Handels-AG um.
History (English)
 The company was founded as a German-Chinese joint stock company with headquarters in Tsingtau. It built and operated a 434 kilometres long railway from Tsingtau to Tsinafu. The name of the company was changed to Schantung Handels-AG in 1930.
