 Joseph Dixon (1799 - 1869) war ein Erfinder, Unternehmer und der Gründer der Joseph Dixon Crucible Company, aus der 1982 nach der Fusion mit Bryn Mawr Corporation die Dixon Ticonderoga Company wurde. Die Gesellschaft ist ein berühmter Hersteller von Bleistiften.
History (English)
 Joseph Dixon (1799 - 1869) was an inventor, entrepreneur and the founder of what became the Dixon Ticonderoga Company in 1982, when it merged with Bryn Mawr Corporation. The company is a well-known manufacturer of pencils in the United States.
