Historia (Niemiecki)
 1929 wurde die North European Oil Corporation gegründet, um in Europa, hauptsächlich aber in Deutschland, Ölförderung zu betreiben. Nachdem der Zweite Weltkrieg sämtliche Aktivitäten stoppte, dauerte es bis 1957, ehe die Gesellschaft in der North European Oil Company reorganisiert wurde.

 In 1929, the North European Oil Corporation was established for the purpose of oil exploration and development in Europe, primarily in Germany. As drilling and exploration activities were terminated by World War II, its reorganisation into the North European Oil Company was approved in 1957.
