 Die Gesellschaft besaß die 124 Meilen lange Strecke von Dubuque nach Iowa Falls. Die Strecke wurde an den Großaktionär Illinois Central verpachtet. Morris Ketchum Jesup (1830-1908) war Händler, Banker und Philantrop. Er war Gründer des YMCA und half bei der Gründung des American Museum of Natural History.

 The company owned a 124 miles long railway from Dubuque to Iowa Falls. The railway was leased to the major shareholder Illinois Central. Morris Ketchum Jesup (1830-1908) was a merchant, banker and philantrop. He was one of the original founders of the YMCA and organizer of the American Museum of Natural History.
