Die Gesellschaft wurde 1869 von Carl Wilhelm Siemens, dem Bruder von Werner von Siemens, gegründet. Das Grundkapital betrug 60.000 Pfund. Die Firma besaß Landore, in der Nähe von Swansea in Wales ein Stahlwerk. 1871 erreichte die Firma bereits einen Ausstoß von 1.000 Tonnen Stahl pro Woche. 1888, fünf Jahre nach dem Tod von Carl Wilhelm Siemens, ging die Firma in freiwillige Liquidation. Die Werke wurden vom amerikanischen Lokomotivbauer Messrs. Baldwin & Co. übernommen. | |||

The company was founded in 1869 by Carl Wilhelm Siemens, the brother of Werner von Siemens. The share capital was £ 60,000. The company owned a steel production plant in Landore, near Swansea in Wales. In 1871 the company had an weekly output of 1,000 tons of steel. In 1888, five years after the dead of Carl Wilhelm Siemens, the company went into voluntary liquidation. The plant was taken over by the American locomotive constructer Messrs. Baldwin & Co. | |||
