Geschichte
 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1872 als Columbian Iron Works gegründet und 1899 als Baltimore Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company reorganisiert. Auf der Werft wurden unter anderem das U-Boot Argonaut von Simon Lake sowie Torpedoboote für die Navy hergestellt.
