Geschichte
 Die Kooperative für den Transport wurde 1936 in Alessandria, Piemont, gegründet. Die etwas patriotische Vignette lässt sich mit der in diesem Jahr erfolgten Besetzung Äthiopiens durch das faschistische Italien erklären. Der Name der Gesellschaft geht auf Santorre de Santarosa (1783 - 1825) zurück. Er war ein italienischer Aristokrat und Militärabenteurer, der im Kampf um die Unabhängigkeit Griechenlands starb.
Geschichte (Englisch)
 The cooperative for road transport was founded in Alessandria, Piemonte, in 1936. As this was the year in which Fascist Italy invaded Ethiopia, it might be the reason for the design being a little patriotic. Santorre de Santarosa (1783 - 1825) was an Italian aristocrat and military adventurer, who died while fighting for the independence of Greece.
