Geschichte
 Captain Robert Melville Grindlay gründete das Unternehmen im Jahr 1928. Ursprünglich sollte es dazu dienen, Kunden und deren Gepäck nach Indien zu bringen. "Leslie & Grindlay" boten jedoch bald auch Bankdienstleistungen an, die man nicht nur auf den indischen Subkontinent, sondern auch auf den Mittleren Osten und Südostasien ausdehnte. Am Ende im Besitz von Citibank und Lloyds, wurde die Gesellschaft 1984 von der Australia and New Zealand Banking Group übernommen.
Geschichte (Englisch)
 In 1928, Captain Robert Melville Grindlay established the company to arrange passage to and from India for customers and their baggage. In time, "Leslie & Grindlay" added private banking activities to its menu of services, which were expanded to the Indian subcontinent as well as the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Finally owned by Citibank and Lloyds, the company was taken over by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group in 1984.
