Geschichte (Englisch) |
The Frankfurter Bank was founded in 1856. It had the privilege to issue banknotes until the year 1901. The bank merged with the Berliner Handels-Gesellschaft, which was also founded in 1856, to form the BHF-Bank in 1970. The name was changed to ING BHF-Bank later, when the bank was part of the ING Concern. After that time, BHF-Bank was part of Sal. Oppenheim and between 2010 and 2014, the bank was part of Deutsche Bank AG. An investor group led by Kleinwort Benson Group is the owner at the moment. |
