Historie (Duits)
 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1871 als Erste Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik zur Erzeugung von Maschinen für die Zuckerindustrie gegründet. Ab 1900 wurden Lokomotiven gebaut, ab 1903 wurden zudem Gasmotoren hergestellt. 1907 wurde gemeinsam mit Ringhoffer die Prager Automobilfabrik gegründet. Diese wurde 1908 komplett eingegliedert.
Historie (Engels)
 The company was incorporated in 1871 as Erste Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik. It produced machines for the sugar industry. It started manufacturing locomotives in 1900, and the production of gas engines in 1903. It founded together with Ringhoffer the Prager Automobilfabrik in 1907, and integrated this company in 1908.
