 Die Holding wurde mitten im Zweiten Weltkrieg gegründet. Monaco war damals offiziell neutral, stand aber unter starkem deutschen Einfluss. Daher gelangte viel Geld der Nationalsozialisten und ihrer Anhänger in das Fürstentum. Mehr als 300 Firmen wurden seinerzeit in Monaco gegründet.
