 George William Latham (1827-1886) was an English landowner, barrister and a Liberal politician. At Mid Cheshire he stood unsuccessfully in the 1880 general election, but was elected as Member of Parliament for Crewe in the 1885 general election. Wilbraham and Armitstead families were both well known and influental in Cheshire.
